We all have someone we admire a lot for our art. Often times we try to base our art off theirs a bit or we try and draw the same thing as them.

Every person I know that does art though is far too self critical. In my opinion art really isn't something that can be judged. Art is just a form of expression, something that someone out there will like. There are many forms of art and different people will like different things. Even if one person doesn't like it doesn't mean another won't.

I have come to realize though that every artist has a time in their art life that they are simply un-inspired. I think people need to show artists more appreciation because every time someone draws or does anything else artistic they are putting a bit of themselves into that piece of work. One of the people I have on my Watch list has a quote like that, which I admire very much. The quote is--

"Every piece of art is a piece of the artist." By [link]
I absolutely agree with the quote too, and if more people realized that I think they would be a bit more appreciative.

The point of my journal entry I guess is that I think we all should show a few people we admire, or maybe even don't admire really some appreciation for their hard work and dedication.
